As I look back on 2024, I am filled with pride at a year marked by transformative achievements and memorable milestones. This year saw two significant anniversaries for Timbers Company: our 25th anniversary as a company and the fifth anniversary of our headquarters in Winter Park, Florida. These achievements encourage us to reflect on the journey we have undertaken together, rooted in the vision of our founder, David Burden, who believed in creating resorts where families could come together to build lasting connections in some of the world’s most beautiful places.
This year, we hosted the inaugural South Seas Tarpon Tournament, an event that brought our community of owners, guests, and friends together in the spirit of camaraderie and philanthropy, benefiting Folds of Honor – a cause that provides scholarships to the families of fallen and disabled service members and first responders. We were also thrilled to welcome Brian Corbett as our new Chief Operations Officer, whose leadership and vision will be instrumental in guiding Timbers’ continued growth. Our offerings expanded with the launch of Andiamo, our curated collection of luxury vacation rentals, reflecting our ongoing commitment to crafting unforgettable experiences for our families. Our dedication to excellence was celebrated by several prestigious honors, including recognition from Condé Nast, Travel + Leisure, a distinguished Virtuoso listing, and the coveted MICHELIN Key Award. These accolades are a testament to the dedication and passion that drive us each day.
As we look forward to 2025, we are inspired by opportunities on the horizon, including plans to extend the Timbers experience to new global locations that you, our Owners, have expressed a deep connection to.
