Folds of Honor
As a veteran-led organization, Timbers is proud to partner with Folds of Honor, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military members and First Responders. Folds of Honor ensures that families who have sacrificed so much for our country and communities receive the education and opportunities they deserve. Folds of Honor’s founder, Lt Col Dan Rooney is a F-16 Fighter Pilot (1,800 hours of flight time) with three combat tours in Iraq and is a PGA Golf Professional.


Hōkūala’s Operation: Rising Star
Annually, Hōkūala hosts Operation: Rising Star, a golf tournament at the award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Ocean Course with proceeds directly benefiting Folds of Honor scholarship recipients in Hawai‘i. In its inaugural event, Operation: Rising Star raised over $125,000.


South Seas Tarpon Tournament
The first annual South Seas Tarpon Tournament will be held in the spring of 2024. Sponsorship proceeds will benefit Folds of Honor scholarship recipients in the Captiva, Sanibel, and Fort Myers, Florida, area with a goal of raising $150,000.

Since its inception in 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded over 51,000 educational scholarships with 45% minority recipients, with an economic impact of over $240 million dollars.
