A New Beginning
In 2019, the company relocated from Carbondale, Colorado to Winter Park, Florida with the goal of expanding the team, access to the deep industry talent pool in Orlando, and a focus on east coast and coastal Florida locations for new resorts. With this east coast move, Timbers made strategic hires to broaden internal team resources and enhance development execution capabilities.
The reintroduction as Timbers Company was a strategic decision to highlight the diversity of Timbers’ ventures and the team’s capabilities. The Timbers Resorts brand represents two successful decades of creating memories for Owners and guests at luxury resorts located in some of the most sought-after destinations in the world.
The company is embarking on an exciting period of growth and diversification with new Timbers Resorts locations and new brands. Timbers Company’s CEO Greg Spencer mentioned “Our business development team has been diligently analyzing new opportunities and we anticipate introducing new Timbers Resorts locations in exciting markets in the coming months.”
